The Building Department of the Town of Port Royal ensures a building meets International Building Codes and Town of Port Royal building requirements. This Department issues Building Permits and Performs Inspections during construction and upon completion. Once all inspections have been passed a Certificate of Occupancy (CO) will be issued.
Permits are obtained by calling the Permits Administrator under Contact Us at 843-986-2215 or completing the Building Permit Application and submitting the application to the Permits Administrator at Town Hall, 700 Paris Avenue to start the Permit process. The Building Permit Application can be found below in either the Building Codes Packet or separately under Specific Application Forms below.
