Redevelopment Commission

The Redevelopment Commission was formed to promote the Town of Port Royal as a inviting community in which to locate and do business. The Commission reviews and recommends to the Town Council activities and facilities that attract businesses which enhance the economy of the Town and provide services to the community and the wider geographic area.

Jurisdication

The Port Royal Redevelopment Commission’s area of focus was expanded in 2008 to include all commercial corridors within the town and in 2009 to include Port Royal Landing and the adjacent parcels along Johnny Morrell Road.  The commercial corridors of the Town are Robert Smalls Parkway,  Savannah Highway, Parris Island Gateway, Ribaut Rd, and Paris Avenue.
